The Bryce Benchmark =D

Hey peoples, whats new and whats shakin…
I know its late in the coming, and even worse its not as if I did anything =B but Im excited to “link” you guys to the Bryce 5 and 6 Benchmark Scene files. A “benchmark” is something of a uniform “test” that we can give our systems to see where we stand power and speed wise when it comes to rendering… In that we would all be using the same software, and rendering the same scene file, we would cleary see where we are as our reported render times will NOT be the same… Regardless of what software you use most often, the benchmark will tell you excatly where you stand… Think your system renders too slow? You may be surprised when seeing how fast (or slow =B) your system renders compared to others…
The important thing is that you must RENDER TO DISK for accurate results… Hitting the “big red button” to start the render doesnt render all the image pixels, so a render to disk must be done, and make sure report render time is checked…
The benchmark page is rather self-explanatory, pretty much render the scene, record your render time, system specs and send them in… Some of you may have seen the guys works, (I think hes pretty awesome =D) but Id like for you to not only report your findings to him, but announce them to the group as well (he may be a bit slow updating his site, but Im far too nosey to wait that long =D).

Whats that you say?!? You Dont have Bryce 5?!? Why not? Its still FREE and is an awesome combination when paired w/ Daz Studio, also FREE =D

And there you have it folks… Please announce to the group when youve completed a benchmark, would be nice to know =)
