[thepixelpalladium] New to 3D modeling and need advice
Hello and welcome to the group, thanks for joining =D
Your PC should be “fine”, youll see that that is a relative term when in the realm of graphics =B
In the groups links section I added a plethora of graphics communities and resources which Im sure youll find of great use. As far as books, Im something of a hardass, its not “totally” necessary but can be useful. If youre using the lower end graphics application, you can easily bypass the book (at first), but when you get into “industry standard” graphics programs, a book is a MUST. However you would be surprised how much you can learn and teach yourself through experimenting inside the program and from the popular graphics communities. This group (and other similar groups) are also awesome for getting help from experienced users who are always more than willing to help =D
